NSW Department of Primary Industries Recreational Fishing Trust – Repairing Fish habitat on the Hastings River.
This project will work with the recreational fishing community and landholders adjacent to the Hastings River recreational fishing haven to improve the “sustainability” of the recreational fishing experience on the river. It will do this through fencing off cattle and horses from critical fish habitat areas, repairing saltmarsh and mangrove communities, stabilising bank erosion and improving the water quality.
