NSW Environmental Improvement Grants:

OceanWatch Australia and Southern Rivers CMA both recevied funding from the 3rd round of the Australian Governments’ Caring for our Country.

STREAM 1

• $100,000 was allocated to NSW oyster farmers to implement environmental improvements to their shed sites or lease areas (click here to view these successul projects).
• A further $32,000 was contributed by Northern Rivers CMA for additional environmental improvements within their region (click here to view  these successful projects).

STREAM 2

• $100,000 was allocated to catchment groups and landowners to implement environmental improvements within the catchment (click here to view these successful projects)

STREAM 3

• $142,500 was contributed by Southern Rivers CMA for infrastructure conversion projects within their region (click here to view these successful projects)

Proponents of funding are encouraged to consider the Green Teams Alliance, Indigenous Serivce Providers, or Landcare groups to assist depending on the nature of the work. Click here for contact details in your region.
